eatre of the absurd. Take the House Republicans and hook them up to a lie detector test; the kind that buzzes you with a jolt of electricity if you lie and the jolts increase with each lie. Ask each of them: What is your primary goal for the next 2, 5 and 10 years?" "Are you willing to lose your seat in the House if that is the result of passing a bill that cuts entitlements?" and "Will you continue to insist on keeping the Bush tax cuts for the highest income brackets and maintaining corporate subsidies even if it is proven, without any doubt, that those tax cuts and subsidies do nothing to create jobs and will not help resurrect the economy?" Since none of them will answer truthfully by saying "regain and maintain power," "no" and "yes," we can watch them electrocute
